Katelyn's Memorial Food Drive
Thank you to everyone who helped make the Katelyn Memorial Food Drive a success this past weekend at the Maryland Renaissance Festival. Over 300 pounds of food and $300 were donated to the Anne Arundel County Food Bank in Katelyn's name. Thanks to all of you, we were able to honor Katelyn in a way that was very fitting with her generous nature. Huzzah and Well Met! Food Drive in Memory of Katelyn
As many of you know, we lost a dear friend and wench of Local 42 in this past off season – Kathleen Martin, or Katelyn as she was known at faire. Katelyn was a generous soul that will be dearly missed. To acknowledge Katelyn’s generous soul, we, the wenches of Local 42 and friends of Katelyn, are holding a food drive this Saturday, September 26, at the Maryland Renaissance Festival. Food collection will occur outside the Season Pass Holder Gate from just prior to gate opening until noon. The food collected will be donated to a food bank in Katelyn’s name. So please, take the time to grab a couple of things from your pantry this Saturday and bring it to faire to donate in Katelyn’s name. Eagles Football!!
WOOHOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG, the Eagles looked good. But now maybe I should be worried, I mean, the Eagles teams that have done well in the past started the season 0-3....... Rescued Pups up for Adoption in DC this Weekend!
Hi All - Someone posted this on another site and I figured I'd crosspost it here. Nearly 200 dogs were rescued from a puppy mill in W.VA and they are up for adoption in DC this weekend. So you think you can dance?
OK so who else is watching. I'm watching now - I blame this on ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) hthottie. (You mentioned you liked it, we parallel shows, so i thought i'd try it - It's all YOUR fault! LOL) Was blown away by Chelsea and Mark - I felt the emotion, I had tears in my eyes. I like Twitch and Kherrington, they brought it. Josh and Lisa(?) - I bought it. Those were probably my top three. I liked the chickie and Gev, but I dunno. the TALL couple - one Courtney and they guy - I thought that that was their best routine to date. I really liked Jessica and Will. So bottom two are Coutrney and Thane and Tree Boy with Comfort. No idea on the third. As par the judges, the tall couple. Quick question - Do they always get voted off as couples?!? that doesn't make sense to me, but I haven't seen the previous seasons. | | 7:41 pm |

I've been to the USSR and Russia. I've been in the Kremlin in the Red Square of Moscow (similar and somewhat related to the first.) Seeing Catherine the Great's Coronation Gown and Wedding Dress rocked! I was "famous" when I was like 6 - I was sitting on my pony at a horseshow, rocking the white cowboy hat and blue ruffled shirt, chowing down on a cream stuffed doughnut.
